Opened in 2001, Angsana Maldives Ihuru is located on the North Malé Atoll. With 45 guest villas, and blessed with palm-fringed beaches, crystal clear waters and pristine house reefs, the resort offers a wide range of marine recreational activities and is one of the most photographed islands in the Maldives. Responsible Development Prefabricated villa elements were imported by light boat to protect fragile coral reef while maximizing natural air and lighting, with no air conditioning installed in common areas to reduce electrical consumption onsite.
